I have already started to turn my blog into a blurb book, but it has a long way to go, but I can't wait to print it. I am also doing my girls baby books - a month by month chronicle.

By Blogger Angela, at 9/27/2007 8:59 PM

I would do a first words blurb book. First words my kids say that is. Its sounds cool. Im going to try it.

By Blogger Nica, at 9/27/2007 9:02 PM

Oh my, this would be perfect. I have been dreaming about my ideas for my little boys baby book/my blog book (since they are pretty much one in the same). He turns one on Oct 27th, so this is perfect timing.

By Blogger Muranda, at 9/27/2007 9:05 PM

I'd make a book of my granddaughter's baby pictures

speedskating @mac .com

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9/27/2007 9:11 PM

Definitely a children's book illustrated by my daughter.

atbolt@yahoo.com

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9/27/2007 9:12 PM

I like the idea of my children illustrating their own books. I'd write the story and they could draw the pictures to go along with it.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9/28/2007 12:30 AM

I'd love to write a childrens book. :)

My book would be, "Year Two" of my blog which covers what's going on with me and my daughter. I'd love to win! Thanks for the chance.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9/28/2007 5:52 AM

Wow, this sounds very cool. I would love to make some of my daughter's stories into a book for her!

By Blogger Maude Lynn, at 9/28/2007 6:06 AM

I"m at work on it right now in my head -- I would write a book for PunditGirl about what China was like in the year she lived there before we adopted her. It's a project that's been on my mind for a long time but many friends have been giving me a kick in the you know where to get it done!

By Blogger PunditMom, at 9/28/2007 6:16 AM

Mine will be a baby book for my kids :) because I my daughter doesn't have a baby book and my son (6) stops at 18months.

By Blogger Designs By Leigha, at 9/28/2007 6:42 AM

I would make an anniversary book for my parents or a baby book for my nieces. I have been looking into these books for awhile.

By Blogger lace, at 9/28/2007 7:27 AM

This is such a terrific idea!!! I've been wanting to work on a project with my daughter and this is the perfect one!!! I will leave it up to her what kind of a book we'd pick.

By Blogger Brooke, at 9/28/2007 8:59 AM

Very groovy.

By Blogger Rynell, at 9/28/2007 9:47 AM

What a cool prize. I'm keeping a journal for my daughter... if I won this, I'd turn it into a "real" book with photos. :)

By Blogger Jenna, at 9/28/2007 11:04 AM

what a fun idea. maybe it would motivate me to further develop some of my favorite recipes and get them in print. i love to cook and experiment and it would be fun to have my own cookbook.

I'd love to make my blog into a blurb book -- it's the only real record of my son's first years. I didn't ever start a baby book, I just made entries in the blog for the boy.

By Blogger melonkelli, at 9/28/2007 3:20 PM

Ooh, what fun! Mine would be all the kids crafts and activities I've done with the kids -- over a whole year-ful of blog posts so far :-)

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9/28/2007 3:49 PM

What a wonderful contest! I would love to win and make a book about all of the travels we've done with our son in the past 2 years. I'd love to make a keepsake like this for him. I am hoping that even if he does not remember these trips, he will at least feel some sort of connection to the different cultures he's been exposed to by looking back at the pictures and stories we have to share.

I'd love to publish the second year of my blog to a book. Blurb is a great service and I'd love to use them.

By Blogger Beth H, at 9/28/2007 6:32 PM

I would probably just make a book of my blog, because it is just mostly my memories of my kids! Awesome contest!

By Blogger Aimee, at 9/28/2007 7:08 PM

Turning my blog into a book has been my heart's desire since I started my blog. The hidden agenda I've kept in mind while writing my posts is that one day my then-adult child will be reading them. Perhaps she'll see me as less of a "mom" and more of a person, and perhaps a friend. Boy, I'd love to win this one!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9/28/2007 8:37 PM

My grandmother has just finished writing my deceased grandfathers life story. I helped her edit it today, and it was touching and heart wrenching. I never knew the man but after reading her story I felt I knew him a little better and her a lot better. She is the most forgiving and courageous person I know. I would blurb that.

By Blogger Erin, at 9/28/2007 9:07 PM

I'm doing a digital baby book for my daughter via Blogger. I love how it is organized, I can edit dates to show milestones, and it's fun to do. I'm still working on her first year, but what a joy it is to revisit all those important moments. I'd love to turn this into a printed book. Perfect!

By Blogger heather h, at 9/28/2007 10:00 PM

I totally want to put my blog into a book!!

Steph

By Blogger Stephanie Wilson she/her @babysteph, at 9/29/2007 6:57 AM

By Blogger Christina, at 9/29/2007 6:58 AM

Great give away! I love the idea!

By Blogger Kim, at 9/29/2007 7:06 AM

I would make a book for my granddaughters.

These books look great.

I would love to make a book from my blog...I'm blogging about my daughters first year. That was our part of our plan when we started the blog. Pity my other future children...like I'm ever going to have the time to do this again! =)
My parents once made a book of emails I sent them while I was living abroad for 6 months...an amazing gift!

By Blogger Luch, at 9/29/2007 8:38 AM

Such a great idea. Would love to win this one.

By Blogger Stephanie Hatzenbuehler, at 9/29/2007 9:22 AM

My husband and I live far from our families: one parent is three hours away, two others are halfway across the country, and the fourth is across an ocean from us. When our daughter was born two years ago, we started a blog to share news and photos of her grandparents. She's changed so much in such a short time, and I find myself so very grateful to have her live well documented. Right now her blog exists only in electronic form, and I've love to publish it as a book--something she can cherish for herself and perhaps someday share with her own children.

(Marsha, www.first-things-first.net)

I would make my book all about my 2yr old daughter!!! It would be excellent to win!!!

I think I would make it a family journal, year by year, basically from the time we were married and through our children to now. Highlights from each year would be great.

By Blogger whit, at 9/29/2007 1:34 PM

My book will be called "Princess Maddie Loves Her Daddy" I will draw all the illustrations and I already have it written out. It goes about saying all the stuff Princess Maddie loves like, "Princess Maddie loves all her mom's kisses and all her mom's hugs, and yes Princess Maddie even likes bugs"... it goes on about stuff she loves in rhymes as so above and in the end it goes... "Yes Princess Maddie does love a lot of things but most of all Princess Maddie Loves Her Daddy." It's cute. Drawings will be super cute and I have it all written out it's probably like 15 illustrated pages.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9/29/2007 3:01 PM

This is exactly what I need to get me started on what I've been saying I'll do (a Blurb book) and getting it done. Actually I've got twins, so my thought is I'll do two as their baby books. Fingers crossed I win AND get started! Thanks for the contest.

By Blogger debra, at 9/30/2007 11:54 AM

This is exactly what I have been looking for! I have already started to make my blog into a blurb book and I'm constantly thinking of other ones I could make for gifts. Thanks for the great idea! My email is toriosorio@gmail.com.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 9/30/2007 5:58 PM

My wife and I take pictures of ourselves doing handstands in places all over the world. This would be the perfect way to pull our collection together for display!

I would like to use excerpts from my blog to create a memoir for my four children of a year in the life of a SAHM raising them. Including pictures, my joys, my moments going crazy. I think this would be a special thing for them to have when they someday become parents of their own.

www.joyandchaos.blogspot.com

By Blogger Chaotic Joy, at 10/01/2007 10:57 AM

What a great product! I would love to give my blog to my parents as a christmas gift. This way they would have their own book of the kiddos.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10/01/2007 11:36 AM

It's hard to say what I would do a book about, though I know it would have something to do with my daughter. There were lots of emotions surrounding her birth including a period of terrible post-partum depression. I have been thinking of a way to document/write/journal about this period in a tasteful and loving way. I think this would be a wonderful way to do it.

By Blogger Brooke, at 10/01/2007 12:50 PM

I have a blog that I'm writing about my pregnancy in hopes to make it into a book someday. I would also love to make a photo book of all the beautiful pictures my husband and I have taken along the way.

Oh my goodness! I have ALWAYS wanted to publish a childrens' book!! My head is going crazy trying to decide on just one topic. Would I do the story of how we got our little girl through adoption? Or combine art pictures with pictures of my little girl to make a fun "art book"? Or make a book of all my relatives living in Finland whom my little girl hardly ever sees (hasn't seen any of them yet, she's already two) so that she can get to know them? Or fun drawings of animals combined with pictures of our little girl interacting with them (she loves animals)? Or a songbook of all the songs she already knows how to sing (with illustrations and her pictures).............. PLEEEEEEEASE PICK ME.... PHLEEEEASE. :)

By Blogger s a n s k u :), at 10/03/2007 7:01 AM

By Blogger Unknown, at 10/05/2007 8:26 AM

Oh, how wonderful. I would love to be published. My husband and I love to create drawings and poems about parenthood (and other things). It would be a dream to have our little ditties in a book. Wish we could also include my husbands compositions. Maybe blurb would have some thoughts on that. jbernotski@yahoo.com

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10/06/2007 12:51 PM

I would love to turn my blog into a book! It would be about all the stuff my kids have done! I don't have the time with 4 kids to keep their baby books up to date. The last time I wrote in all the baby books was when I had my youngest and put his birth in the books.
And it would also have parenting stories in it. From a real mom to real moms! Nothing like you would find in other parenting books.
I would call it Real Stories of Motherhood.

By Blogger Becky, at 10/07/2007 10:29 AM

It would be a book of my photography chronicling the lives of my special needs sons.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10/09/2007 5:38 PM

No problem deciding what my book would be! My 2 grown kids have always teased me about my photographing their lives...they say that "Mom documented our childhoods!" I would definitely make a book for each one of them, plus all the pictures I've taken of my 2 beautiful little granddaughters!

I would love to do baby picture books for my 2 kids or just turn my blog into a book! Love it!

I love to scrapbook, but it's so hard to keep up with a toddler running around. So, my book would be a look back at my baby's first year complete with milestones and his first crayon drawings so I can let go of the guilt of getting behind with my scrapbooking. We actually just ordered a couple of bound books for this purpose (and for Christmas gifts) from a photo hosting site and are SORELY disappointed with the quality. It sounds as if blurb makes a much higher quality book!

I would love to create a book of heritage for my girls - kind of a legacy of where they came from (highlighting interesting fact of my family and hubby's family) - fun memories of our family - favorite recipes and other things that have been passed on to me by my mom and her mom and her mom .. things only a mother an daughter can share.. basically "The Thyen Girls Guide" - something they can read and laugh about, go to as a source from time to time, and most importantly, a reminder that I love them, love them, love them lots!!! :)

By Blogger Thyen Party of Four, at 10/12/2007 1:49 PM

This would be wonderful for our family since my kid's grandparents are in Australia - we have family all over the place. London, Israel, all over the US.. we'd love to share family pictures in a book format. Since I'm a graphic designer, it would be a great project to test my photo editing and layout skills in a non-pressuring way!
Thanks for this one!

I've been putting together a family cookbook, and this would be the perfect thing to help me finish it. My grandmother is my last living grandparent, and I'd love to have a beautiful collection of her recipes to pass down to my daughter.

By Blogger Melissa, at 10/15/2007 7:07 PM

My husband and I are coming up on our 5 year anniversary. A blurb book documenting our adventures of the last 5 years would be a beautiful way to celebrate.

Mine would be more of a "blur" book, about the first six months with our new son. It's gone by so fast! I'd make the book for his dad for a Christmas gift.

There's so many things I could make with a book like that!

I've always thought about making them a homemade letters and numbers book...maybe I would do that!

By Blogger Alexia, at 10/16/2007 6:24 AM

I'd make a baby/kids book with photos that I've taken of my family.

By Blogger divrchk, at 10/16/2007 6:36 AM

I would make it about my 70yo mother. It would be to celebrate her life and her achievements. I think she would love it!

By Blogger Borges, at 10/16/2007 6:56 AM

Wow, WHAT a giveaway! You are always so chic and I love looking at all the cool stuff you find! I'd love to make a book of my family - my hub, myself, and my 2 kiddos. The hub is big into web design stuff, so he would probably be very good at this sort of thing!

By Blogger jenna, at 10/16/2007 7:28 AM

A baby book, a grandkids book (for my mom), an artbook (my 4 year-old is amazing!) a places we've lived book...so many ideas. Thanks for introducing this great product. And as my kid would say pick me pick me!

My book would be a book of my son's first year of life! :)

By Blogger Andrea, at 10/16/2007 9:50 AM

Hmm.. hard choice. It would either be a collection of my favorite chocolate recipes with photos or a memoire type book about our life on the farm and ranch with tons of photos added.

By Blogger Montserrat, at 10/16/2007 10:22 AM

Wow what a great give-away. I would definetly make my blog into a book.

By Blogger April, at 10/16/2007 11:10 AM

By Blogger Holly, at 10/16/2007 11:41 AM

I would make a FAMILY RECIPE BOOK. It would include pictures of all the food we love to make together and their recipes. Unfortunately, (or maybe fortunately) the Dessert section would be the biggest chapter.

My blog is my way of putting the precious day-to-day moments with my children down "on paper." I have thought often of blurbing the blog, and this would be the perfect opportunity!

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 10/16/2007 5:52 PM

My book will chronicle the journey we've taken to adopt our daughter. She's six months old now, and our blog has evolved from a place for me to vent my emotions about infertility and the tedious adoption application process, into a celebration of her life, her developments, and our new family!

Oh sooo good! I've been looking for a better way to create a book of my Grandma Elsa's life instead of the kinkos binding method... She past away recently and I was in charge of putting something together with pictures and stories of her life from a recording we took of her telling those stories. (she could remember everything from her childhood just not so much her day to day life) Anyway i'll most likely use blurb even if I don't win. Thanks for the heads up. Love your blog Nic

I would make an 'Our Story' book, all about our family and extended families and our heritage.

By Blogger Mandi, at 10/17/2007 7:16 AM

My book would be about how my son Finn eats everything -- because he's in that stage where he puts everything in his mouth. I've already written the text and now I need the illustrations. I'd love to record this for him in a nice professional looking bound book so he save it for his kids also. my email: mindybizzell@yahoo.com

I want to publish a book for my sister about her pregnancy. Thanks!

By Blogger Kenny and Jen, at 10/21/2007 3:46 PM

I started my photo blog today is pretty so I'd have something nice to show at the end of a long day—especially when that long day entails meeting the needs of two little boys. It's also about documenting and sharing the good stuff, amid the diaper changes, the meal making, the cleaning up, and the whining and the boredom (theirs and mine) because often the lovely moments in ordinary life and in motherhood pass quickly and go unnoticed by the rest of the world. I would love to create some books of my favorite shots to share with others.

i had a blog for a year - the first year of my daughters life. then i found it took too much time, so i quit. i have wanted to blurb it, so there would be a nice, tangible record of the first year she was here - you know, what happened, how she looked, her brothers and all their antics, and who her mama was at this particular time in life. even if i don't win, you have reminded me that i need to do that for her.

on a totally different note, i just found you - obviously, i'm not as cool as i thought i was. kinda trailing the pack a bit. but it's nice to "meet" you. my best to you with everything!

I would include all of the letters and cards I've given her, pictures of the kids and us together, and pictures of what we have seen since being together!

By Blogger Unknown, at 10/23/2007 9:11 AM

Like you, my children are my life. I started my blog this year mostly to document the first year of my daughter's life (also staring her hilarious and amusing 3 year-old brother) and I would LOVE to make a book of all my posts. The book would include all the adorable photos, stories, and family outings with her dad, me, and her brother. I would love to be able to give her a BEAUTIFUL book of her first precious year of life.

By Blogger Celia, at 10/23/2007 2:50 PM
